Charles is a licensed, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Boulder. He sees clients across the lifespan and has experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric illnesses including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Charles has been working in the mental health field for over 7 years. He started his career in mental health as a Psychiatric Nurse’s Assistant in a state-run psychiatric hospital in Austin, TX. While there, Charles quickly discovered his passion for mental health and became a Registered Nurse at another psychiatric hospital in Austin, TX. Charles earned his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin in 2022. 

Charles believes in providing individualized, evidence-based, client-centered mental health care. He meets his clients wherever they are with their mental health and works with them to help achieve their needs and goals. Charles believes in reducing the stigma surrounding mental health care and views himself as both a provider of mental health services and an advocate for mental health awareness. 

When he is away from the office, Charles enjoys spending time with his partner and their dog. Charles loves the outdoors, and has a passion for skiing, rock climbing, hiking, traveling, and playing and watching soccer.
