*Ja’Neice sees patients 13 and up and is available at our Fort Collins clinic and in Wyoming via Telehealth.
Ja’Neice believes that mental health is not a destination but a journey; one that is taken with the help and support of many people along the way. Having worked in health care for almost 10 years, Ja’Neice has seen the impact, good and bad, that mental health can have on a person’s journey to overall stability. With experience as a registered nurse not only in the medical setting but also over 4 years in the mental health setting, Ja’Neice has an array of experience working with a wide variety of clients. Her interests include, but are not limited to, clients struggling with ADHD, Bipolar, anxiety, depression, grief, life transition, trauma, and disordered eating, as well as some substance use disorders.
Ja’Neice first became a nurse in 2012 graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with her BSN. She then laid the groundwork for her nursing career by working on the medical floor as a medical surgical nurse for some years and then in a surgical unit. She fell into behavioral health by chance after looking for a new nursing experience and found great satisfaction and reward in helping people work through their mental health struggles to achieve greater overall stability in life. She proceeded to pursue her MSN and certification as a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Colorado where she plans to continue to expand her education and training to better assist more clients in achieving the best version of themselves.
