By working closely with patients to prevent, identify, and manage symptoms of various mental health conditions, our team can help improve your quality of life and your long-term mental wellness. And with offices across the state, we have many highly trained and qualified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners in Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, and Highlands Ranch to support your mental health goals.

Our PMHNPs are experts in psychopharmacology, which means we possess an in-depth knowledge of all psychiatric medications, how each one affects brain chemistry, and how to effectively prescribe them for optimal outcomes. If you’re looking for ways to mitigate your symptoms and improve your mental health, our talented team can help.

Meg Eastburn RN, BSN

(Preferred pronouns: She/her/hers)

*Meg treats patients ages 8 and up in our Fort Collins clinic.

Meg has been working in healthcare since 2006 and began her nursing career in 2009. For 13 years, she worked in trauma care, gaining extensive experience caring for individuals and families during some of life's most challenging moments. Throughout her career, she witnessed the profound connection between physical and mental health and developed a deep appreciation for the importance of treating the whole person. Her experience in trauma has given her unique insight into the ways life-changing events, stress, loss, and adversity can affect emotional well-being and
resilience.

Meg earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2025. Her decision to specialize in mental health care was shaped by both professional and personal experiences. Through these experiences, she saw firsthand the stigma often associated
with mental health conditions and substance use disorders, as well as the barriers many individuals face when seeking care. These observations inspired her commitment to providing compassionate, nonjudgmental, and accessible mental health services.

Meg believes that healing the mind is just as important as healing the body. She takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to care, recognizing that meaningful and lasting improvement often involves a combination of medication management, therapy, lifestyle modifications, and strong support systems. She values collaboration and works closely with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and unique life circumstances.

Meg strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their mental health journey. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, life transitions, and substance use concerns while building resilience and achieving meaningful, lasting wellness. Having lived in Colorado since 1998, Meg enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible. An avid scuba diver, she takes every opportunity to get underwater, especially when visiting her parents in South Florida. She is also a dedicated fan of the Colorado Avalanche and rarely misses the chance to cheer them on.
