Full Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Openings
Larson Mental Health seeks a Full Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our growing team. Full Time Employees will receive a benefits package. You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of our healthcare team in a hybrid tele/in person position. We are currently hiring for our Denver and Boulder clinics.
We welcome New Grads and have a New Grad program at our practice.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $95.00 - $120.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic mental health conditions
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities, when necessary
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Manage patient records, as needed, including generating Insurance Superbills, completing notes, prior authorizations, and patient accommodation letters
Qualifications:
- Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Psychiatric Certification
- Master of Science or Doctorate degree in Nursing from a program accredited by the American Nurses Association or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners
- Current Active Advanced Practice Nursing License with Prescriptive Authority in the State of Colorado
- Current DEA Registration
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center
- Current Malpractice Insurance
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to self manage
